Investor alert: Office for Financial Inspection

It has come to the attention of Finansinspektionen (FI), the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, that persons referring to the fake regulator Office for Financial Inspection are contacting investors with financial offers.

Fraudsters may claim they are from FI or a fake regulator to gain trust. Please note that fraudsters may also send emails from domain names similar to FI's. Always contact FI if you have any concerns about who is behind an offer.

FI warns investors and others about doing business with firms that are not authorised to offer financial services. The warnings are compiled in FI's Warning List. A list of all the companies authorised to offer financial services in Sweden can be found in FI's Company Register.
