Economic Analysis Office

The Economic Analysis Office is responsible for:

  • analysing the financial system's vulnerabilities and resilience to different types of disruptions and together with the supervision sections proposing measures to strengthen financial stability
  • analysing the macroeconomic risks associated with indebtedness in the non-financial sector and proposing targeted measures to reduce these risks
  • coordinating FI's work in international working groups
  • Mortgage Report, Stability Report, and the FI Analysis series of reports.

Thomas Nielsen is Acting Chief Economist and Acting Executive Director of Economic Analysis.
