FI Director General Erik Thedéen has been named Vice-Chair of the International Organization of Securities Commissions' (IOSCO) European Regional Committee for the period 2016-2018.
IOSCO is the global standard setter for the securities sector. IOSCO's membership of more than 200 organisations regulates more than 95% of the world's securities markets.
IOSCO's members are organised into four regional committees. As Vice-Chair of the European Regional Committee, Erik Thedéen represents the 50 European members on IOSCO's Board of Directors. Erik Thedéen will assume this position at IOSCO's annual meeting in May.
